Dr. Trevor Ajayi

Trevor Ajayi, PhD holds a B.Sc. (Special Hons) Chemistry from University of Lagos, an M.Sc. in Petrochemicals & Hydrocarbons Process Engineering and a Ph.D. in Petrochemical Process Engineering from the University of Manchester, Institute of Science & Technology, UK. He comes with about 40 years’ experience in the upstream and downstream sectors of the Petroleum Industry.
His experience spans the R&D Department of NNPC, Programming & Control at the Kaduna Refinery (1980-1982) as well as various positions from Petroleum Reservoir Engineer (France, Australia, Singapore) to Deputy Managing Director (Nigeria) and then Head, Field Engineering Support (Africa) at Schlumberger between 1983 and 1992. Dr. Ajayi founded Oiltest Services Limited, an upstream services company, in 1993 and has been CEO from then till date.
He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (USA), Energy Institute (UK), Society of Chemical Engineers (UK) and Royal Society of Chemistry (UK).
