Gbenga holds a Bsc in Political Science  from the University of Jos, Plateau state. He also has an MBA in General Management from the University of Hull, United Kingdom.

He started his career in 2002 with Industrial and General Insurance Limited and has gone ahead to work with several key players in the Downstream Oil and Gas sector gathering experience in Retail, Sales & Marketing and Business Development over 13 years.

Over the 13-year period, Gbenga worked with Chevron Oil Nigeria Plc, which later became MRS Oil Nigeria Plc, Eterna Plc, Kata Trade and Marine Services and Energyswitch Allied Oil and Services Limited.

He joined OTL as Head, Sales and Marketing (Commercial) in May 2019, and in that capacity, he oversees the day to day commercial activities of the company which includes coordinating nationwide sales and logistics and increasing the company’s market share.
